Everything is prepared as the wort, which is in the can, only needs to be mixed with hot water and sugar; you then add cold water to bring it up to 40 pints; the last thing to be added is the yeast which comes with the beer kit. 

After only a week, the fermentation stops, and you are ready to syphon your Geordie home brew off into bottles or a barrel; wait for approximately ten days for the beer to mature, and then you have your perfect pint just right for you to drink.
