17th century Holland is the first confirmed date of gin production. However, claims are made that its production was before this in Italy.
It was distilled as medicine in Holland and sold in chemist shops to treat stomach complaints, gout and gallstones.

Q. How do you add flavourings to Gin?
A. Gin is a British favourite tipple that has evolved from the usual "Gin & Tonic" to various flavours from fruits such as raspberry, rhubarb, pineapple, and more.
Botanical extracts such as coffee, cinnamon, ginger, lavender, rose, and others help you create exciting flavour combinations for Gin.

Flavourings are typically added at the end of the distilling process or bottled Gin.

Each flavouring is presented beautifully in 50 ml (1.7 US fl oz) bottles.
Each bottle makes 2.25ltrs (3 x 750ml bottles) and adds to vodka or other 40% ABV spirit.
Juniper is the only botanical that must be included in Gin by law. Juniper berries give Gin its characterful and invigorating pine-like quality. Coriander seeds are present in most gins. They add spicy notes and, depending on their source, sometimes peppery ones â?? such as ginger or sage.
Gin pairs best with citrus and savoury flavours. Classic pairings include lemon, lime, cucumber, mint, thyme and even hot chile peppers.
