Country Wines are also referred to as fruit wines or hedgerow wines, as you can often collect the main ingredients by foraging in hedgerows or woodland. There is great fun and satisfaction in having a day out foraging for fruit. We usually take gloves, a few buckets or carrier bags and a pair of garden scissors each. By the end of a good day you can have enough produce to make gallons of top quality wine.
Which ever recipe you use, you will need brewing equipment, which is a one of purchase to be used time and time again.
If you want to forage on private land, please remember to get the land owners permission before you start foraging.
