Homebrew Plastic Demijohn

Home brewing using these demijohns is possible, but there are a few considerations to keep in mind to ensure a successful brew:

• Ensure proper sanitation: Just like glass demijohns, cleaning and sanitising plastic demijohns before use is essential.
• Use a cleaning solution for brewing equipment, and rinse the demijohn thoroughly with hot water.
• Avoid extreme temperatures: These demijohns can be sensitive to extreme temperatures, which can cause the demijohn to warp or crack.
• Avoid exposing your demijohn to high heat or cold temperatures, and store it in a cool, dry place.
• Be cautious when handling: These demijohns are more prone to damage than glass ones, so handle them carefully to avoid cracking or breaking.
• Use a carrying handle or strap to move the demijohn, and secure the lid tightly to prevent spills.
